Wish I Could!

The March Shirtdress by Joie is perfect for this coming fall! I would love to wear this dress with purple tights, tall black boots, and a colorful patchwork clutch one night - then wear it with a studded vest, leggings, and ankle boots the next! My wishlist item of the day is this awesome Denim Vest by Pencey, on sale at ShopBop.com for $87.60 and only available in size XS. I love the unique fit of this vest and the stud detailing sprinkled along the edges. If ShopBop issued a coupon to save on clearance items, I would probably buy it, but I can't justify spending almost $90 on a vest right now... I wish I could!

Your Opinion On... Patterned Leggings

Patterned leggings are supposed to be huge this coming fall and winter season. I have seen everything from leopard, zebra, and snakeskin to lace to florals and to tie dye even some abstract and psychedelic patterns. We also have a wide array of textures to choose from for leggings, including leather, velvet, denim, and sequins. Today, ShopBop.com even sent out an email with three different outfits with printed leggings (see above). Be sure to keep the rest of your outfit relatively simple and natural - a flowy top in a solid color with an interesting layering piece (think a fur vest, denim jacket, layered belts, etc). Leggings work great with an array of footwear - flats, heels, boots of any height, or even a pair of high top sneakers!

I like the more simple patterned leggings (lace, tie dye, and burnout) but might venture so far as to try leopard or zebra patterns as well. I love all the textures, especially leather! I also love all the leather-look-a-like options available.

Thrifty Treasures

I could not believe my eyes when I found this jacket at the Community Thrift Store on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston! Acid washed, bomber shaped, and fur lined - this jacket is fall fabulous! I plan on wearing it with very simple outfits - grey or black jeans and white or black tees. Maybe a simple black dress and some black boots to dress it up a bit!
