Your Opinion On... Denim Favorites

What is your favorite brand of premium denim, and why? 

My favorite is Diesel because I love their style, fit, and washes. Diesel will have great new ideas for jeans every season without loosing touch with their classic denim roots. My second favorite brand is True Religion because they have such a flattering cut. I wish I could afford more!

Denim Do or Denim Don't?

What do you think about Gwen Stefani's outfit above? I think it works only because it is Gwen Stefani, but you won't ever catch me in this mess! The jeans (Levis) look uncomfortable and frumpy with that belt holding them up, and I have never been a fan of denim-on-denim (on women at least). The whole look is not flattering, but somehow I think Gwen rocks it! 

Over all, I think this outfit is a DON'T, but Gwen can DO whatever she wants! Rock on girl!

Denim of the Day

Right now, I really want a pair of dark destroyed denim jeans with white thread exposed at the rips and abrasions. I don't really know why, but I have always loved destroyed denim! It is so casual and effortlessly sexy. Whether worn dressed down with a t shirt or maybe a boy tank and cardigan, or dressed up with a silk camisole or a structured button up and vest combo, destroyed denim can take you anywhere! Day or night, class or party, matinee movie or dinner date, its up to how you wear it, and thats what I love!
